In the far west on West Wheelock Street is the St. Thomas Episcopal Church (1874-6) by F. C. Withers, and north of the church is hte Ball Cage (1891) (adapted from Sanborn Map Co., 1894; 1899; 1904 by Scott Meacham, 1998).
